Description
Fine quality 18th century Meissen cabinet cup and saucer well painted with harbour scenes. The cup well defined with scenes to front and reverse within a cartouche on a puce ground picked out in gold. The saucer similarly painted within a cartouche picked out in gold,the reverse on a puce ground.
Underglazed blue crossed swords mark with painters number “55”in gold,circa 1745. The cup 7cmsh,saucer 13.2cms
