19th Century French Silver Gilt and Glass Hunting Trophy in the style of a cloven hoof.

Marked GS for Jean-Georges Schickler and signed DENIERE A PARIS. The Schickler family crest is affixed to the front. For this particular hunt in 1835, Maison Denier who were usually known for their bronze pieces, produced this piece in Silver Gilt.

Contained in original fitted case.

The underside houses a silver plaque naming all of his dogs and describing the attack of the deer.
