An excellent example of a rare American silver Christening mug.
Of larger proportion, this mug features four images in low relief of the Kewpie doll, designed by the cartoonist Rose O'Neill.
Spun-made with classic applied Art Deco style handle and soft gilt interior. A vacant cartouche, styled as a door surrounded by flowers, that shows no signs of previous personalised engravings.
Weighs 105 grams.
Mug is in stunning condition, no splits, or damage, no personalization or engravings, the gilt being nice and soft gold. All in, professionally polished and hygienically clean. Please see images above.
