Description

A wonderful example of a pair of sterling silver cruet sets on stands.

Designed and made by George Fox, the cylindrical barrel form features pierced lids on the salt and pepper and thumb opener on the mustard pots. The powder pots both have a light engraving on the sides for Salt and Pepper. Each piece has an additional family crest (a stag on a crown).

The set comes with the original hallmarked mustard spoon and matching hallmarked trefoil stand on three ball feet.

The powder pots retain traces of the original gilded interiors.

Size: Pots measure 2" (5 cm) tall.

Condition: The set is in stunning condition, we've had them professionally polished, so in excellent order. The lids ort the pots have a tight fit. Please see the images above.
