A fine and rare large sized Britannia silver photo or picture frame, made by the firm of Neil Lasher Silverware for GMG.
Of unusual Italian Rococo design, this superb frame features winged cherubs and flowers in high relief. All this is high quality Britannia silver, with blue velvet back and strut. The frame is an electrotype so has extremely high definition that wouldn't be possible for a pressed silver frame, making these NLS frames highly desirable. Frame is in excellent condition, freshly polished, but not overly polished so to leave the design definition and ready for use. The velvet back and strut freshly cleaned. All original.
