Description
A Carrington & Co., Art Deco, engraved mother-of-pearl dress-set, with a natural pearl in the centre of each disc, on a mother-of-pearl surround, with spider's web engraved decoration, with a platinum border, with engine turned gold circles and lines, mounted in 14ct gold, with C14 maker's marks for Carrington & Co. The three collar studs have sprung fittings. The cufflinks have bar link and jump ring fittings. The cufflinks are engraved R. S. R. and 11-15-55, in the USA date style, however the cufflinks are likely to have been made around 1930 as both the fittings and maker's mark are in Carrington's earlier style. The business closed circa 1950. Made in USA.
