Description
A stunning and rare Cartier sterling silver and enamel bottle server.
The open truncated cone with black and red enamelled decorative bands, mounted to open double scroll handle, hinged to slip over bottle neck and split and splayed handle bottom to side to facilitate pouring. The enamel making the holder particularly unusual - the "standard" versions do not have enamel.
Signed Cartier, also incuse stamped "STERLING 925-1000".
Item is in excellent condition - the silver being clean and bright, the enamel near perfect - please see images above.
