A rare and unusual set of Christofle silver cutlery in the "Brienne" design.
This is a large "Empire" style cutlery set for 10 people, comprising of 90 pieces. The set was made in the second half of the twentieth century by Cardeilhac, a company that had been earlier acquired by Christofle. Unusually, this set is the more valuable 950 standard of silver, rather than the more usual sterling version.
The set consists of 10 of each: table knives, table forks, table spoons, side / dessert knife, fish knife, fish fork, pastry fork and tea spoon. Also included are the 10 serving pieces.
We strongly advise viewing.
All items are in excellent condition and freshly polished, please note that they have been previously used, so do have some very light dents and dinks to the handles, please see images above of closeup images of handle examples. Each piece is sealed in plastic for protection.
