Description
A lovely example of a rare "The Cube" three piece modernist design tea set.
Originally designed for the Cunard ocean liners, the silver plated set was was made for the 1st Class passengers, the ceramic version for the other classes.
This version is the classic three piece, all featuring the swag and bow decoration.
All pieces have the matching signature as per above.
Stunning condition - few light marks commensurate with age and use, no loss to the silver plate. The handle is in fine form with no damage to the cane work. The sugar bowl does have a dent to one corner, please see final image above.
