English Sliver Guild Snuff Box, Birmingham 1832 by Nathaniel Mills.
Rectangular in shape, exterior and interior gilded, hinged cover with an engraved family crest for "Murray" against an engine-turned ground within an embossed scroll, floral, and foliate border, the sides with similar decoration, the base engine-turned, and the inside cover with the citation "Presented to Capt James Murray by the officers & NCOs of the Trafford Volunteers June 1845,"
