Description
A single crystal and silver mounted claret jug.
This stunning Edwardian period sterling silver claret jug is a rare combination of Moser Crystal and the mount made by English silversmiths S Blanckensee & Sons.
The cut-glass body of tapering form, decorated with deep intaglio copper wheel cut glass featuring classic Moser lily flower design, topped with a plain silver mount and hinged domed cover with a finial, a semi-covered lip and angular scrolled handle in the Art Nouveau style.

Markings: Hallmarked for .925 sterling silver, Birmingham 1902.
Size: Measures 11 1/4" (28.2 cm) tall.
Condition: Item is second hand, but is in excellent order. The silver has no damage just fine silver polishing marks. The crystal body has no chips or cracks, a few marks commensurate with age and use.
