A excellent example of an antique sterling silver 2 piece hip flask and cup.
This flask is a heavy weighted prime example of the silversmiths workmanship, with the sponsors mark of Frederick Bradford McCrea, and retailed by the Army & Navy.
This is a fine, premium quality example features a bayonet cap, mounted on a large oval kidney shaped body. The cup fits flush to the flask. A flask is of a generous size that has a wonderful engraved stag to the front and a combination of initials to the reverse: ACR
Comes without the original box, but supplied with one of our grey velvet pouches.
Markings: Fully hallmarked for .925 sterling silver, dated London 1903. Sponsor's mark "FBM", as per images above. Weight of 225 grams.
Size: Measures 6" (15 cm) tall, 3 1/4" (8.5 cm) wide. Approx. 5.8 fl oz, 155 ml.
Condition: Item is in excellent condition, professionally cleaned, polished and re-corked, ready to go. Some very very slight signs of use commensurate with age - please see images above.
