Description
A excellent example of an antique sterling silver hip flask.
This flask is a prime example of Victorian stylized Mandala / floral engraving, featured to front and reverse side of the flask.
This is a fine, premium quality example features a screw cap. All mounted on a squat powder flask shape shaped body with sloping shoulders. A good size that has a small vacant cartouche to the front and reverse, suitable for personalisation if desired.
Comes without the original box, but supplied with one of our grey velvet pouches.
Markings: Fully hallmarked for .925 sterling silver, dated Birmingham 1869. Sponsors mark "D&M", untraced. Weight of 90 grams.
Condition: Item is in excellent condition, professionally cleaned and (lightly) polished, ready to go. Only lightly polished so as not to disturb the crisp engraving. Some very very slight signs of use commensurate with age - please see images above.
