Description
An excellent and interesting example of a vintage Scottish sterling silver Quaich, made for a cup of welcome and a cup of farewell.
Interesting example with the Lion rampant from the (unofficial!) Scottish flag, and coronet, on the handle.
Markings: Fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1898, Robert & Henry Bruce of Kirkwood. 102.5 grams.
Size: Measures 5 5/8" across the lugs, diameter of 3".
Condition: Item is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, so some very light scratching to the centre of the bowl. Antique - please see the images above.
