A Victorian snake bangle, with a cushion cut sapphire set in the head, with a surrounding cluster of rose cut diamonds, in pear shape settings and cabochon cut ruby eyes, with twisted wire and granulation decoration, with an open mouth featuring teeth and a tongue, with the tail curling around the neck, in a fire gilded matt finish, on a hinged body, with a box and tongue clasp and safety chain, circa 1860.
