A very smart 18ct yellow gold signet ring set with an oval carnelian intaglio, made in England c.1963. The carnelian is finely carved with two crests, one a bust of a bearded man in a hat emerging from a crown, and the other a crowned lion standing and holding a standard. Fully hallmarked for London, 1963, with maker’s mark “L.W”.
