9ct Gold Buckle Bangle | English Edwardian c.1912
9ct Gold Buckle Bangle | English Edwardian c.1912
POA
Description
This antique buckle bangle was made in Britain in 1912 and is crafted in solid nine carat gold.
Hallmarked in Birmingham with the anchor mark, 9.375 gold standard, and the date letter ‘n’, it’s a beautifully preserved example of Edwardian-era jewellery.
The engraved surface features scrolling floral detail, flowing across the front half of the bangle and leading into the raised buckle motif - a classic symbol of loyalty and strength.
The inside of the bangle measures approximately 6cm by 5.5cm, making it a comfortable fit for most wrists.
It opens with a secure clasp and retains its original safety chain.
There are two small dents consistent with age, but overall the piece remains in excellent condition, with a soft, warm glow and a solid feel in the hand.
It’s a timeless piece, easy to wear, easy to love, and a quietly elegant addition to any antique jewellery collection.
Available exclusively at ELTONS, Grays Antique Market, Mayfair, London.
