Description
An absolutely remarkable travel case made by the prestigious Henry Dumenil.
Hand crafted in London 1922/1923 this amazing case had been in storage since in was bought in 1924.It is in pristine condition.
The case has an outer protective cover, it is made from distressed camel leather. Fully silk lined and comprising of the following:
A soapbox.
A travel clock.
A drink flask'
8 crystal vanity bottles/jars.
A comb
A letter pouch(still has its original blotting paper inside.)
A hand mirror
4 brushes
A button hook and a shoe horn.
All the silver is 22 carat gilt.
All the crystal has been skillfully deep engraved and etched with classical floral designs and starburst bottoms for high refraction.
