Description
An exceptional example of early Edwardian elegance, this 15-carat yellow gold brooch (circa 1905) features a beautifully balanced design of symmetrical forget-me-not flower heads. Each floral cluster is meticulously set with five vibrant blue turquoise cabochons surrounding a sparkling central diamond accent. The flowers flank an intricate central Diamond ribbon motif, from which suspends a fluid, articulating pendant drop featuring a final matching turquoise stone cradled in a detailed claw setting.
Crafted in highly collectible 15ct gold: a British luxury standard for finely worked pieces, officially discontinued in 1932. This rare piece offers significant historical appeal. The turquoise cabochons retain an extraordinary consistency of colour and lustre, completely free from the fading common in antique gems. Complete with its original hinged pin and secure clasp. This beautiful piece remains in pristine, wearable condition for the discerning collector.
