Description
An extremely beautiful Victorian 15 Carat Yellow Gold (tested) Brooch, in the form of a central Shell, overlaid with two closed back pale Beryl type stones, supporting an elongated Quatrefoil design which is closed back set with four Almandine Garnets, the pediment of which has another pale Beryl type stone. There are two scrolling fern designs to either side with blossom type drops, all finely worked in Gold and overlaid above a Trefoil design Brooch decorated in Gold in the Etruscan revival style. The Brooch supports a single articulated drop in an oval form with two further fern designs, a single Almandine Garnet and another pale Beryl type stone.
