Description
An antique necklace in 15ct gold, a graduated line of oval citrines in rub-over settings. The stones are largest at the centre and taper gently towards the neck, each one linked to the next by a short length of fine trace chain. The citrines are a warm golden orange, varying a little from stone to stone in the way natural gems do, and they glow against the soft yellow of the gold.
The necklace fastens with a clasp set with a further citrine in an oval box, so the line of stones carries on to the nape, and a fine trace chain completes it. At 15.5" it sits at the base of the neck and is easy to wear alone. A warm, uncomplicated piece of antique jewellery. Authenticated by us.
