A terracotta tile featuring a beautiful depiction of a Buddha (Ca. 386-534 AD), rendered in high quality. The piece features a seated Buddha wearing rich garments whose pink pigment is beautifully preserved alongside it's blue halo, black hair and green drapery. He is performing a mudra - symbolic gestures of the hands and fingers used in Buddhism.
