Description
Watch: Cyma WW Dirty Dozen
Stock Number: CHW6574
Price: £1,850.00
Part of the collectable and sought after so called ' Dirty Dozen' British Military watches from the second World War.
This Cyma is likely battle hardened with obvious marks and scratches throughout, although recently serviced and working perfectly for a watch of such age.
Accompanying this watch and what makes it a little different is a Cyma watch box, obviously not original to the watch as these never came with a box but a nice presentation touch or for a gift maybe. Fitted to a new blue Nato style strap we can change this upon request. Finally we also have a spare Cyma dial included with the watch, if you wanted a more original dated look then this may well suit what you after and we can supply with the watch or change into the watch if preferred.
Black dial, approx 33mm steel case the hands and hour markers show clear discolouration and age as does the case. The dial either refinished or much later as would appear to be the case with the hands or at the very lease they have been relumed at some stage.
Dial signed 'Cyma' and with the British Military 'Arrow' marker. To the rear of the case the stamps and markings are clear to be seen.
Caseback signed: W.W.W / P20389
Operating from a 234 Caliber movement manual wind.
Generic blue textile strap and steel buckle.
Our View - A wonderful fully functioning Cyma Dirty Dozen watch, although not maybe the very best example of a fully original Cyma DD it is for sure a fine example as an everday watch having recently been service and a lovely gift idea.
