Description
A fine Sapphire and Diamond "Art Deco" Dress Ring set in Platinum(tested) with worn marks, probably French.
The rectangular cut Sapphire measures 7.5 mm x 6mm and has been "Rub-over" set and "Mille Grain" edged. Surrounded by a Geometric Plaque Design with "Open Strap-work" and "Pave Set" with numerous Full Cut, Single Cut and Rose Cut Diamonds. There are three "Triangular Cut" Sapphires to each end of the Plaque (6) in total, all on a fine Platinum shank with "split shoulders".
Moe Gauge, 9 x 16 x 27 averaged between 0.66 & 1.60 Carats = 1.13 Carats Approximately (unweighed).
