A wonderfully characterful E. Wolfe & Co. diamond and sapphire toucan pendant, beautifully crafted in 18ct yellow gold and depicting a tropical toucan perched within a circular twisted gold frame. The bird is intricately carved and engraved, with finely textured feathers, a sweeping tail and a distinctive curved beak. Its expressive face is highlighted by a sapphire-set eye surrounded by sparkling diamonds, with further diamonds accenting the wing and the branch beneath its feet. The contrast between the richly textured gold plumage and the polished beak gives the pendant a particularly lifelike quality. Suspended from a decorative twisted gold loop, the circular frame complements the sculptural design beautifully. Signed E.
