Description
A refined Edwardian gate bracelet in 15ct gold, its slender double-bar links alternating with three circular stations, each holding a single stone in a millegrain-edged collet. A ruby sits at the centre, flanked by two old-cut diamonds. The ruby's deep red against the white diamonds and warm gold is a small, deliberate flourish on an otherwise pared-back design.
The open rectangular gate links give the bracelet an airy, flexible line on the wrist. It fastens with a box clasp and a fine safety chain. The 15ct mark is characteristic of the period, which makes this a well-made, wearable piece of early twentieth-century jewellery.
