Known just simply as the Heuer 'Big Eyes' its easy to see why! This classic Pre Carrera Heuer dates back to approximately 1948 and having just undergone a full service is in exceptional working order.
Approximately 37mm stainless steel case size with a smooth bezel and two steel pushers to operate the chronograph function. Part of the recent service has been a rebuild of the top pusher by our watchmaker.
Plexiglass fitted this wonderfull movement that is housed in this case is a Valjoux 72 Calibre, 17 jewels.
The original dial would have been white / cream silver has aged beautifully to give a yellowish patina. Made in Switzerland stamped to the bottom of the dial there is some discolouration possibly from age possibly from moisture to the right side however does not take away from the watch or the operation of it. Finished with gold coloured hands.
This is the more rare version being in stainless steel and with the lighter coloured dial.
Manual wind, plexiglass and not waterproof.
A wonderful example of a classic Heuer in what is a really good size for the era.
