Description
19th century Meissen dinner plates finely decorated in the dragon & Phoenix design which was first produced in the 1730’s and derived from Japanese porcelain. The design which was produced in a number of different colours has two phoenixes in the centre and two dragons and auspicious symbols to the gold rimmed border, circa 1880
