A gem set dragonfly brooch, with an oval shaped, old-cut diamond, weighing 0.37 carats, set in the thorax, with surrounding eight-cut diamonds, with blue to green plique à jour enamel wings, with old-cut diamonds in the centre of the wings, with eight-cut diamonds, along the top wing edges and in the tail, with a total additional diamond weight of 2.45 carats, with faceted rubies in each wing tip and cabochon ruby eyes, with a total ruby weight of 1.00 carats, the legs are engraved to represent hairs, mounted in 18ct gold.
