Of the Vintage Omega watches from the 60's and 70's this for us is the one we get asked for most, its the Constellation Pie Pan dial and its the dial that sets it apart.
34mm stainless steel case that is gold plated and housing the Calibre 561 Automatic movement, running at +20 seconds or so which is more than sufficient for a watch dated to 1966 by its serial number (can be serviced upon request at an additional charge).
Fitted to a new grey / beige colour beautiful leather strap and plated buckle that suits the watch perfectly (we cand change the strap colour upon request).
For many it is the dial that will appeal on this watch and for those that are not aware the 'Pie Pan' dial started in the 50's for until the late 70's. This one has a silver dial that is flat and raised in the centre dipping down towards the outside giving a unique feel and look depedning on where the light hits the dial. Silver dial with baton hour markers, the date aperture to 3 and dauphine hands that are gold coloured too creating a pleasant contrast.
Presented in a vintage Omega Box.
Condition- Strap is new and unworn, case shows some minor marks and light scratching as you would expect. Dial overall appears in excellent condition. Plexiglass shows a few minor blemishes but thought to be original, crown is a later generic service crown.
Our View - Exceptional condition and collectors piece in great working order and presented beautifully.
