POA
Description
A pair of 18ct gold earrings made in Italy around 1890, designed in the Etruscan Revival style.
Each features a tapered torpedo drop suspended from a domed top with applied petals, coiled wirework, and delicate granulation.
The surface is decorated with hand formed rosettes, fluted leaf motifs, and fine chasing, each leaf placed with care.
The craftsmanship is typical of skilled Italian goldsmiths of the period, and the design is still chic and easy to wear to this day.
They measure approximately 5cm long and 1cm at the widest point.
