Beautiful And Rare Antique Multi Gem Cluster Ring. A striking and unusual marquise shaped multi stone ring set in 15ct yellow gold. A late Victorian ring circa 1890-1900 in original condition. The carved ring mount has scrolls with scrolls and leaves carved to the shoulders. The head of the multi gem cluster measures 15.5mm across, 18mm in length towards the finger. It is difficult to convey just how unusual and rare this ring is. We have never seen an example before, it is totally original. The gemstones set in the ring are all natural stones, in the centre is a yellow/orange sapphire and on the surrounding edge starting with a Victorian transitional cut diamond. Moving clockwise, a purple sapphire, ruby, orange sapphire, emerald, amethyst, light blue sapphire and finally a dark blue sapphire. Beautiful.
