Do we leave this one as its is and original or put through a polish? We decided to leave as it is although a polish can be done upon request. With that being said there are some hairlines scratches etc on the clasp, caseback etc however what that does mean is that this Rolex Datejust 16234 in original, unpolished and has had just the one owner from new!
Dated to 2004 with the original purchase receipt its clear this watch has not had much use. Complete with inner and outer box, bezel protector, swing tag, manuals, wallet a documented previous Rolex Service. Having passed through our workshop its pressure tested to 100 meters and time tested to be within 5 or 6 seconds per day.
36mm stainless steel case with a white gold fluted bezel that retains its sharpness. Silver dial with dial baton hour markers and the date at 3. Glass scratch and chip free. Fitted to a full length Rolex steel oyster bracelet with folding clasp.
Automatic movement operating from a 3135 calibre which gives a power reserve of up to 48 hours.
Our View - A real honest, original Datejust that has had just owner that has barely worn the watch, retains all its originality and sharpness whilst also benefiting from being a complete full set.
