Might just be the finest example of the 'Swiss' only dial Explorer 14270 made only for around 18 months in 98/99. A complete true collectors set that also benefits from a documented Rolex service in October 2024 meaning still under warranty for the balance of the 2 year period.
A better collectors example would be harder to find. Included with this watch is the inner and outer box, both swing tags, manuals, calendar, Original Papers (first sold in 1998 and on a U serial) along with the Rolex service card.
36mm stainless steel case with a smooth steel bezel fitted to Rolex oyster bracelet with double fold clasp. Sapphire scratch resistant crystal and waterproof to 100 meters.
Black dial with white luminous hour markers that have a silver surround and the important 'Swiss' only at the bottom of the dial.
Operating from a 3000 calibre movement giving a 42 hour power reserve and in perfect working order as you would expect from a recent Rolex service.
Condition - Has to be 9.5/10, we can not find a blemish on this watch and considering its age think this is the perfect example.
