POA
Description
A fine English cross pendant, crafted circa 1830s from sterling silver and set with brilliantly foiled paste stones.
At its centre, a vivid red paste gem backed with coloured foil mimics a ruby. Surrounding it are fourteen large clear paste stones, each hand set in closed back silver mounts to resemble old cut diamonds.
A wonderful piece, striking when worn on chain or ribbon.
