Seven Stone Sapphire & Diamond Ring | English c1910s
POA
Description
luminous and beautifully made 7 stone ring, set with alternating sapphires and old cut diamonds in a finely pierced high gallery, made in England around the 1910s.
At its centre sits a vibrant, richly coloured sapphire of approximately 0.60 carats, flanked on either side by two smaller sapphires and four glinting old cut diamonds totalling around 0.25 carats.
The stones are set in white over gold to enhance their brightness and contrast, a classic Edwardian era technique, while the body of the ring is crafted in warm 18 carat gold.
Ring size M.
