Description
A late 18th Century English verge with regulator dial in silver pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Regulator style white enamel dial with central blue steel poker hand for the minutes, Arabic numerals. Small subsidiary for hours at twelve with Roman numerals and subsidiary for seconds below. Matching plain silver pair cases, silver pendant and bow, maker’s mark "TG". Lateral steel lever t stop the watch acting on the contrate wheel.
