A fine and authentic example of the highly collectible Timor WWW, one of the iconic "Dirty Dozen" watches commissioned by the British Ministry of Defence during World War II. Timor was one of the twelve Swiss brands selected to produce reliable, rugged timepieces for the British military, and this piece offers great originality and military history in one.
This particular example of the Timor DD has had a refinished MOD dial and hands likely that has gone back to the Ministry of Defence to be relumed and redialed so that it can be used again by the military hence its clean look.

Condition and our view - Unlike many others this is a near perfect example of a vintage military watch, having likely seen service it has most probably gone back to the MOD to be redialed with either new hands or relumed hands and then issued again.
If you're looking for a true original version this most likely is not it, if you're looking for an excellent example that can be worn daily and its exceptional condition this may well the one to go for.
