Description
A bold and beautifully made Victorian signet ring, crafted in England around 1873 and fully hallmarked with 15 .625, the Birmingham anchor, and date letter Y.
Set in rich, gadrooned, 15 carat gold, the ring features an oval carnelian with a smooth, matte polish, traditionally left blank or engraved with a crest, but here kept wonderfully minimal.
Today, it wears equally well, engraved or as is.
