Exquisite Victorian Gold Snake Necklace With Garnet cabochon head and central garnet in the beautiful heart drop from the snake mouth. The graduated link necklace in glorious buttery 15ct gold, not hallmarked but tests 15ct gold. The snake head falls at the base of the neck with a delightful gold heart which has scrolling surrounding the juicy central set deep red cabochon garnet. The head of the snake has emerald set eyes in, beautiful chasing on the head with a central deep red cabochon garnet, The snake mouth is open with the bale dropping the heart. the graduated body is ‘snake skin’ effect. It thickens in the body and tapers down to the tail. The back of the snake head has a compartment with a clear rock crystal cover, it being a memoriam jewellery piece.
