A relatively unknown and under the radar watch.
The Zenith S58. Our present example is a Mark 1 model with manual winding movement.
The dial has even patina throughout and is an attractive creamy golden tone complimenting the golden hands and hour markers.
When this watch was sourced the lume in the hands had slightly flaked away. This was professionally adjusted utilising the remaining lume present in the handset.
Its 36.5mm stainless steel case is in good honest condition. Cool "S58" marking on the caseback.
This watch benefits from being on its correct Zenith bracelet, which really completes the look. The inner Zenith clasp is date stamped "2/59" for the 2nd quarter of 1959.
Inside beats the Zenith calibre 120 manually wound movement.
It has been thoroughly inspected by our watchmaker, is fully functioning and keeping good time.
