An incredibly well preserved vintage Zenith from the mid 1940's, this Dennison cased 9ct gold rectangular wristwatch has stood the test of time and so is presented in exceptional order and condition for its age.
33mm Case (40mm from lug to lug) x 23mm rectangular 9ct yellow gold case with snap back case back. Silver aged dial with black roman numeral hour markers and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6. Marked Zentith.
The case made under licence by Dennison and marked 99135 / 257516. Movement dated to 1944 by the serial number.
Fitted to a generic brown leathers strap.
Working Order: Amplitude around 200 and time reading around around -30 Seconds per day. Due to the age and time reading we have taken the view of leaving the watch not serviced however can be upon request at an additional £150.00.
Condition: Incredible all round condition, some discolouration to the dial giving a natural patina consistent with the age. Some minor blemish on corner of lass and light scratches on case again consistent with age. Can be polished upon request as can glass be replaced.
An incredible vintage tank style watch left all original with a beautiful movement.
