1960s French 18ct Gold Flower Brooch with Diamonds and Emeralds by René Kern
POA
Description
A vintage 18ct gold flower brooch, made in France in the 1960s and designed by René Kern.
Sculpted as a budding flower, the surface is richly textured and finely detailed, set with brilliant-cut diamonds and vibrant emeralds. The craftsmanship is precise, the composition elegant and lifelike.
René Kern opened his maison in Düsseldorf in 1950, known for bold, sculptural work in high carat gold.
His firm became an international name with royal clients and later merged into the Garrard and Bucherer groups - but early signed pieces like this remain rare and collectable.
Signed KERN PARIS and hallmarked 750. Measures approximately 5cm x 4cm.
Available exclusively at ELTONS, Grays Antique Market, Mayfair, London.
