Description
One very fine Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond Foliate, Lavaliere Pendant set in 18ct Yellow Gold and Platinum (tested), centrally claw-set with one cushion-cut Natural Untreated Ceylon Sapphire, weighing 1.80 Carats. This is surrounded in a foliate design by 71 pave and rub over-set Diamonds (32 rose cut, 39 old round-cuts), with an articulated pear shaped drop hanging form the bottom of the piece. The whole piece is hung from an 18ct White Gold (tested) chain run through an 18ct Yellow Gold articulated bale.
Accompanied by an Independent Gemmological Report confirming the above assessment.
Please note that untreated Sapphires from Ceylon of this quality and colour are extremely scarce.
