Description
An antique diamond bow brooch, with a cushion shaped old-cut diamond, in the knot, in a cluster of old-cut diamonds, in a gold grain setting, above a crown gallery, in a single looped, three row ribbon, set with rose-cut diamonds, two of the rows in grain settings, with the top row in loops of rub over settings, mounted in silver-upon-gold, with a removable pin fitting, with later French owl and swan import marks for 18ct gold and silver, in a fitted, blue leather case, with C L initials below a crown, circa 1850.
Estimated stone weights total 5.50 carats, large diamond approximately 0.70 carat.
