Description
An antique, French, pink spinel, diamond, gold and silver cluster ring, with a faceted, oval mixed-cut, pink spinel, in a gold claw setting, surrounded by rose-cut diamonds in a silver, cut down set cluster, with a border of petals, grain set with old-cut diamonds, in silver-upon-gold, with gold split shoulders, each infilled with a silver tulip, grain set with an old cut diamond, the base of the shoulders are clasped with a double band, onto a two row gold shank, with a French eagle head mark, for 18 carat gold, made in France and a partial swan mark for silver, from 1893 for silver imported into France, from 1902 struck on second hand silver, circa 1830. Estimated stone weight of the spinel is 4.20 carats. The total estimated diamond weight is 1.90 carats. Our opinion of the colour range is K to M and our opinion of the clarity is SI to I1.
