Description
An Art Deco Cartier diamond and platinum cocktail watch, with an off white rectangular dial, signed Cartier, with black painted Arabic Art Deco style numerals, with blue steel hands, with a curved crystal, with two baguette-cut diamonds either side, in rub over settings, with eight-cut diamonds set in the surround, a rose-cut diamond set winding crown and eight-cut diamond set double lugs, attaching a black double cord strap, with two row, eight-cut diamond set clamps, with French dog head mark and maker's marks, for platinum and black enamelled terminals and eight-cut diamonds set links, onto a black enamelled deployant buckle, with French eagle head marks for 18ct gold and maker's marks, signed Cartier, with individual number CG23670, with two of the clasp sections numbered 1122, with the BTe S,G,D,G, mark. The watch is mounted in platinum, in a two part case, the back is engraved MADE IN FRANCE, numbered 19635, 6525, 28715 and CG23670, with a worn French dog head mark, for platinum, circa 1930.
