Description
An Art Deco sapphire and diamond oval plaque brooch, with a row of channel set, rectangular faceted sapphires, surrounded by a row of eight-cut diamonds, with D shaped faceted diamonds either end, surrounded by eight-cut diamonds, with a trefoil above and below, with Art Deco style sunray motifs either side, grain set with eight cut diamonds, with one larger old-cut diamond in the centre of each trefoil, with calibré-cut sapphires at the edges, to form an oval surround, mounted in platinum, with an estimated total diamond weight of 1.50ct, circa 1930.
