Description
An Art Deco sapphire and diamond oval-shaped pendant, with an old-cut diamond, in the centre, weighing an estimated 1.50 carats, in our opinion the colour is I/J and our opinion of the clarity is SI, in a millegrain edged, rub over setting, encircled by calibré cut blue sapphires, in a millegrain edged channel setting, with a surrounding stylised eight ray star and scalloped fringe, with Edwardian-cut and old European-cut diamonds, weighing an estimated total of 6.50 - 7.00 carats, in grain settings, decorated with millegrain edges, mounted in platinum. The pendant currently comes with a modern curb chain, stamped 835S, which is silver fineness used in Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal.
