Description
A Victorian 18ct gold caduceus brooch, dating to circa 1860–1870, featuring an intricate design of intertwined serpents beneath a pair of wings, accented with rose-cut diamonds, enamel detailing and natural pearls. There is a small area of enamel loss near the tails of the serpents.
The brooch measures 4.2cm in length and 2.2cm at its widest point.
Approximate total diamond weight is 0.40 carats.
